American Woman Dies In Dubai After 13hrs Flight

An American woman who died on board a transatlantic flight from New York to Dubai on Friday.
Brandi Hidges, age 40, was travelling with her cousin on a 13hrs Emirates flight to the UAE 🇦🇪 for holiday.  Minutes before landing, Hodges said she felt unwell and was short of breath. She fainted but regained consciousness briefly and spoke to attendants. Hodges was given oxygen and ice before she fainted again, she was then rushed by ambulance to a medical room at the airport, where first responders tried, unsuccessfully to revive her with a defibrillator
Hedges from Chicago,was an energetic healthy and avid travellers with no signs of illness, her cousin Gloria Ray-Banks  confirmed that. .
Ms Ray-Banks said her sister who was travelling with Hodges called her in the early hours of the morning in hysterics to tell her what happened. So Sad !  She told her Hodges was struggling to remain conscious as people disembarked.
Emirates offers its condolences to the passengers family and it's providing them with assistance."

The family plans to begin repatriating the body on Sunday when businesses reopen after the Eid Al Fitr Holiday.

Lagos Police confirms Arrest of Officers Who Killed Suspected Robbers

The Lagos State Police Command has said it has arrested four of its officers seen on video, killing two suspected robbers in their custody,  NAN  is reporting. Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO,  Bala Elkana , in a statement on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of the policemen. In the video that went viral on social media, one of the police officers is seen telling the others to give way so he can “kill” them. He afterwards pulled the trigger killing the suspects who were already handcuffed and put inside the bus the officers used for the operation. Elkana, in his statement, said: Attention of Lagos State Police Command was drawn to a video on social media showing some Police officers shooting two unarmed suspects who were arrested and already in their custody against the code of professional conduct and laws guiding how suspects in Police custody should be treated.
