Beyoncé And Wizkid Win Outstanding Duo, Group Or Collaboration At The 2020 NAACP Image Awards OnoBello
Multi-award winning singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has made history by becoming the first Nigerian artiste to win at the prestigious National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) awards after his collaboration with American singer, Beyoncé‘s ”Brown Skin Girl” won for outstanding duo, group of collaboration at the 2020 edition.
Ahead of the show which is slated for tonight, Wizkid along with the global superstar was announced as the winners via NAACP’s official social media pages.
‘Brown Skin Girl’ is a track off Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ soundtrack album which was made to celebrate the 2019 photorealistic animated remake of The Lion King.

“The Lion King: The Gift,” the Beyoncé-curated and produced album has been released! Beyoncé, on Tuesday,  released the tracklist for the album . “I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it. I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa,” Beyoncé said in an ABC special. Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Tekno  are the Nigerian artists who are featured in the album. Ghanaian dancehall star  Shatta Wale , South Africa’s  Busiswa  and  Moonchild   Sanelly , and Cameroon’s  Salatiel , are also featured in the album. Emirates is on an aggressive drive to hire more UAE nationals to boost its workforce, including filling up thousands of cabin crew positions with an attractive salary package starting at Dh18,000 a month for Emiratis. The Dubai-based airline is looking to recruit at least 3,000 cabin crew globally. "The position is open to all nationalities but we are looking to hire as many Emiratis as possible for this position," Abdulaziz Al Ali, executive vice-president of human resources at Emirates Group, told reporters at a media round table on Wednesday. There are also 120 job openings for ground staff in Dubai but these are reserved only for Emiratis, he added.
