The Federal Ministry of Health has unveiled the list of several funds donated by the private sector, individuals and federal government in the fight against COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
This development comes a day after many Nigerian demanded to know who was in charge of the collection and disbursement of the donated funds for the treatment of the virus.
The list include giant establishments such as Access Bank, Zenith Bank and Guaranty Trust Bank who gave N1 billion each with facilities for isolation center, while the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) gave N11 billion.
Other individuals who donated N1billion each include, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Herbert Wigwe, Segun Agbaje, Tim Ovie and Dr Paul Eneche who gave N2 billion worth of materials, Atiku Abubakar with N50 million and N10 million from Tuface Idibia.
The coronavirus cases in the country soared to 111 as at Monday with two deaths reports so far.
