The Bottle Cap Challenge Is Getting Crazier As More International Celebrities Answer the Call-Out

source: highsnobiety

The Bottle Cap Challenge is the latest ridiculous challenge doing the rounds, thanks to ACRONYM designer Errolson Hugh.
Earlier in the week Hugh posted a slo-mo video of him unscrewing a bottle cap with an impressively precise roundhouse kick. As he said in his caption, “not bad for a fashion designer.”
The designer then tagged UFC champ Max Holloway, who rose to the challenge without hesitation. Keeping the chain going, he tagged John Mayer, writing “I decided you have to come to Hawaii after your tour and kick it with us until you complete it!”
Mayer responded on Holloway’s video with, “Oh shit. Challenge accepted.” Looks like he won’t be heading to Hawaii, though, because now we have a video of the style god/watch connoisseur/musician kicking the cap off a bottle. Watch it below.
Mayer tagged Jason Statham in his post, and the action star has since responded with a swift challenge entry. Statham in turn tagged director Guy Ritchie and retired American mixed martial artist James Moontasri to take part in the contest, as both have already utilized social media to share their videos.
After insisting Statham attempt it without the kung fu face, Ritchie issued a Bottle Cap Challenge to Will Smith, David Beckham, and star of the new Aladdin remake, Mena Massoud. Neither of the three have responded as of yet.
Diplo, however, has taken it upon himself to participate in the contest, then challenging Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Kevin Durant, and Barack Obama. We’ll have to wait and see if any of them are up to the challenge.
Most recently, football star Paul Pogba took the challenge to new heights by nailing the bottle cap challenge with two bottles in one go. Let’s see who will top this one.
